Shannan Chen
Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant
Shannan Chen is a recent graduate from New York University, who received a B.A. in Psychology in May 2021. Additionally, she completed a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies (CAMS). She’s currently a teaching assistant for the Science of Happiness class at NYU. Her research interests include the long-term correlates of emotional reactivity (self esteem, attachment style & rejection sensitivity) within an interpersonal context. She intends to pursue a PhD in Social Psychology, with a focus on emotion regulation.
