Jamie Karns
Master’s Research Assistant
Jamie Karns earned her B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Child and Adolescents Mental Health Studies from NYU. She is currently in the M.A. in General Psychology program at NYU. She is interested in understanding how a lack of emotional regulation increases the risk of depression and anxiety that then results in an increase in suicidal ideation and self-harm in children and adolescents. She is currently figuring out whether she wants to pursue a PhD or PsyD.
